Plattsburgh — Nancy J. Aley, 52, of Underwood Avenue, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Plattsburgh on May 17, 1949, daughter of James H. and Jeannette (Langlois) Kelley.

Nancy was a graduate of Our Lady of Victory Academy in Plattsburgh. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Parish.

Nancy was the Cafeteria Manager at Oak Street School in Plattsburgh.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Michael W. Aley of Plattsburgh; two children and a son-in- law, Bridget and Curtiss Hemm of Peru and Derrick Aley and his fiancé, Kristina Lahtinen of Plattsburgh; her parents, James H. and Jeannette Kelley of Plattsburgh; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Susan Kelley of Plattsburgh and Donald and Phyllis Kelley of Plattsburgh; a sister, Marie Moore of Plattsburgh; a grandson, Alec Garrison Hemm; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday evening, Dec. 20, 2001, at 6 p.m. from Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will be later next year in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Plattsburgh.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center at CVPH Medical in Plattsburgh.
