Aleycia's book

Hi, Aleycia. I really only wanted to know a little about the origin, or history, of the Alfaro family name and the furthest back we've been traced. I haven't got a lot of time to do the research for myself so whatever you could pass on would be great. I'm originally from New York City but my wife and I moved out to Oak Harbor, Ohio nearly six years ago. My father, Miquel Alfaro, and his family live out on Long Island, and when his mother died some years ago, they became the only other Alfaros I've known. His father is still alive in Puerto Rico but I've never met him and don't know his name. I don't really talk to my father much. And, hardly ever about our pasts. Well, thank you for responding so soon, and I look forward to hearing from you. Take care, Michael.
