I am looking for descendants of George Alford who was chr. 12th December 1846 at Upton Lovell. Parents Abel Alford and Sarah DYER.
On the 1881 census George is listed as living at Trowbridge, WLT, Age 36, Occup. Foreman-Wool. His wife was Leah, age 36, occup. wool weaver, b. Bradford, WLT.
Their children were; Rowland age 15, William age 10, Sarah age 4 and George age 2.
Any help would be appreciated.
