After a extended break, in researching the Alger Family Line, I have decided I must turn over some more rocks and pick at clues once more.

Have a transcript from Oneonta Star (Newspaper) with the obits of Leon, Ira and Delos. Ira W. Alger passed away on the 3rd of December 1925... Leon, his son, passed away 20 days later after standing by his father's grave in ithe ce cold rain grieving. Delos' obity mentions his father David Alger and his mother Elizabeth Beams as well as his Grand father Stoughton Alger, a Revolutionary War Soldier.
