Hello - found this Algie board quite by chance. Could any one help? My Gt.Grandfather was William Algie Browne - he lived and worked in Burma (Myanmar) late 1880s-early 1900s. Completely unable to trace any U.K.records. His daughter, my Grandmother was born in Rangoon 1888/1890. Again unable to trace records.She was Amy Dorothy Algie Browne - later Miller. Would having the name Algie mean a family connection to the Brownes? I suspect I'm guessing wildly here!

Any help or guidance would be more than welcome....
