Yes, that is Tim's dad. I remembered that I had his yearbook. It is packed up in our attic. Tim was born in 1966. Norman was in the Navy in Mississippi when Tim was born, then he moved to Virginia and died there in 1991. It is the same man..I am pretty sure that Norman had two half sisters. One is Sally and, I think she lives in California. We really only have the yearbook and some photos from the military, but nothing else. I think the other man man be Normans Dad..
Amy Algoe

How old a gentleman was he when he died/ In the Social Security Death Index I see a man of that name who died who was born in 1916. The one we need would have been born around 1939.
Thanks
Judy King

I would say yes. He passed away in 1991. He was my husbands father. We have no trace of his family and we would love it if someone from his family happens to speak up. My husband, Tim, was his only child as far as we know... I am trying to piece some of my husbands family together.I do know he lived in PA before he went in the Navy, then the Air Force.
Amy

Hi:
I saw your message and would like to know if the Norman Algoe that you referred to went to Cranberry High School, Seneca, PA and was graduated in 1957. We are celebrating our 50th high school reunion this year and are trying to track down our classmates.
Thanks.
Judy King

Elizabeth Algoe born Nov 7,1813, died March 6,1904. She married George Wright of Scotland born abt 1807 and died Oct 10.1891. Both are buried at Perry/mcfarlan cemetery in Grand Blanc Michigan. I believe that they were married in New Brunswick and moved to Atlas of Genesee County Michigan. Other Algoe's moved to Michigan with them around late 1830's. I need help with the Algoe's.
