The Cheney Free Press, Cheney, Spokane County, Washington, June 8, 1934.
Two well known young people of Cheney were married Tuesday evening in Spokane when the Rev. Charles F. Kuehler(?) read the service uniting Miss Frances Allabaugh and Mr. Royal Holman. The wedding took place at 8 o'clock at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Matt Leithauser, 2603 North Post street.
The bride, dressed in orchid taffeta, was accompanied by Miss Merle Holman as maid of honor, and the bridegroom was attended by Jack Allbaugh as best man.
Mrs. Holman is the daughter of Mrs. Addie Allbaugh, formerly of Cheney. Mr. Holman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Holman, is employed by the Shell Oil company in Spokane. Both are graduated of the Cheney schools. Mrs. Holman has taught for two years, finishing this year at Republic and teaching last year at Grier school.
They are making their home in Spokane.
I'm not related to this couple. I believe Frances's father was a town Marshall at one time. He was called Old One Step.
