Hi Here it is 3 years later, I just read your message. I am doing research on the same family. I have Joseph Francois Alain's father as Gilles Alain. My aunt went into microfilm at the library. I am related through Isabelle also. My G grandfather was Honore Desire Alain (born 1865) from Gaspe. There are many of his descendants in the Detroit area. I hope this is helpful! Leslie Allain-Emond
