I am searching for any information on my aunt, oldest sister of my grandfather, Maria Geertruida Allard, born january 12, 1890 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She arrived september 30, 1912 in New York, Ellis Island on the ship Noordam as Marie G. Allard. According to some info from old familymembers, she went there to merry her lover a man named Hoekstra. He was born in the Netherlands, Friesland, occupation sailor and should be around the same age as Marie. They had a bakery in Baltimore and raised 3 children, one boy and 2 girls. Any information on them and/or relatives is welcome esp. on the man she merried Hoekstra. Sofar I found no trace of them in the USA.
