Pardon the interruption. My great great great grandfather is Samuel "Sam" Allcorn of Washington County, TX. He was born in 1844 and I believe he was a slave of John Hodge Allcorn (born 1799, d 1853). I believe he is the black male, age 6, listed on the 1850 Slave Schedule for J. H. Allcorn.
