Cerece Lorraine Van Bebber, 83, Jefferson City, died Saturday at Oakview Living Center. She was born June 21, 1912, in Eldon, a daughter of Garnett E. and Cora Belle Crum Allee. She was married June 6, 1927, in Leavenworth, Kan., to Paul Van Bebber, who died in September 1969.

She was employed as office manager for St. Joseph Parish and Immaculate Conception Church, and was bookkeeper for KRCG-TV. She was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She served on the Jefferson City Park Board and helped establish Memorial Park swimming pool. She was past president of Hawthorn Garden Club and a charter member of Meadow Lake Acres Country Club.

Survivors include: two daughters, Joyce Koecher, Evansville, Wis., and Suzanne Van Bebber, Mountain View, Calif.; two sons, Jack Van Bebber, Deer Park, Texas, and Michael Van Bebber, Talketnai, Alaska; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Dulle Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Cronin will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
