I am the son of William Thomas Allee who was born in Crockett TX in 1925. His father and mother were Claude Thomas Allee (also born in Crockett in 1897) and Beulah Mae Newton (born in Pennington TX which is only about 15 miles from Crockett.) Claude's mother Sarah Jane Dickey, who may have gone by the nickname "Sallie," was also born in Crockett in 1863 and I have reason to suspect she was married to a John Allee (presumably also from Crockett.) Houston Co. is and has been for quite some time, home to quite a large number of Allee's. I tend to think we are all or at least mostly related. I'm having a dickens of a time connecting my line to any other Houston Co. Allee's though so I'm hoping some of you might be able to help.
