Well, that was them alright. Frances and James were my great grand parents. My maternal grandfather was their son. He was born in Liberty, Mo. James died of a cerebral bleed and is buried in the Goodall Cemetery in Newburg, Mo. His father was Thomas Gavisk and I'm not sure about his mother but I think it is Mary J. Smith?? I think his father was born in Ireland and his mother was from Pa. I don't know much more than that.
I am going to Ireland this fall and I am trying to at least get the area where they are from so I can go see if I can find anything in their records. Any information you would care to share would be appreciated. Allison
