Bixer D Allen (born Oct 1893)
Bixer D Allen, 87, of 1273 Lexington Avenue, Akron, died June 10, 1981, at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital.
Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Retha. He worked in the Tube Room at B.F. Goodrich Company for 35 years, after retiring he was the parking attendant at the North Akron Savings and Loan Association for 20 years. He was born in Circleville, OH, and lived in Akron since World War 1. Mr. Allen was in the 42nd Rainbow Division during WWI, and was a member of Redeemer United Methodist Church.
Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Hennessy-Bognoli Funearl Home, 936 N. Main Street, followed by funeral service at 8 p.m. Burial at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. In lieu of other rememberances donations may be given to the Hattie Larlham Foundation.

He married Mary Jane Tatman, daughter of Lewis Tatman and Louisa UNK on 11 Nov 1866 in Vinton County, Ohio. She was born on 30 Apr 1849 in Ohio. She died on 03 Oct 1903 in Circleville, Pickaway County, OH.
