Wm Henry Allen is my ggg-grandfather & I have hit a brick wall in finding his parents.

He was born in VA sep 08, 1804 in Viriginia
Died May 10, 1859 Shelby Cty, Tenn.
married Caroline Brown March 27, 1826

I did find a listing of his children but cannot his parents. Would certainly appreciate help, hints, explanation, etc. on his parents !!!
