Jeffery David Allender, 48, of Parkersburg, West Virginia passed away Wednesday (April 9, 2008) at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 8, 1960, in Canton, Ohio, a son of Franklin Allender of Vincent, Ohio and Janet Marie Allender of Belpre, Ohio. Jeffery was employed at Building and Industry of Parkersburg and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved children.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Jo Beth Allender (Donnie) of Belpre; one brother, Joe Allender (Renee) of Columbus, Ohio; his wife, Teresa Cunningham Allender of Parkersburg; one nephew, Nicholas Stephens of Belpre; two half brothers, Joshua and Ryan Singer, both of Cutler, Ohio; two stepchildren, Trista and Tyson Cunningham, whom Jeffery was like a father ; two uncles, Jerry Smith and Kermit Allender; two aunts, Delores Scipio and Retha Green; several sisters and brothers-in-laws; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd., Belpre, with the Rev. Eugene Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Hermon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the services Saturday at the funeral home
