Classification: Query
Surnames: ALLERT - JANZEN - HEINRICHS
At least 3 Allert households departed from West Prussia to Russia in the mid 1850s
Karl Stumpp's wellknown Germans to Russia immigration book shows:
1. Heinrich Allert of Stobbendorf, Grosse Werder, left for Taurien region (part of today's Ukraine) in 1846 - no further details
2. Maria Allert, b 26 Oct 1793 of Pietzkendorf, Grosse Werder, left for Taurien in 1846 with her two children:
- Cornelius (b 16 Mar 1821)
- Heinrich (b 13 Aug 1823)
3. Heinrich Allert, b 13 Aug 1823 of Orlofferfeld, Grosse Werder, left for Taurien in 1945.
In all likelihood these three households were related. #2 and #3 also appear in the parallel Mennonite work by BH Unruh (1955).
Am not kin to these folks - but am doing some basic research for a client who would be interested in communicating further.
