I am an ancestor of David Allton Sr., and hence David Allton Jr. At some time in his life, Allton Jr. dropped the extra 'L' . I am in Canada now, second generation, but I am a direct descendent of David Allton Jr.(b.1782 Mass.) and Lucy Farwell (b.1807, Vermont).
