Surnames: Alpert, Alperovicz
Thank you for your message. The Martin Alpert you know is not related to me as far as I know. Martin H. Alpert is my grandfather who died in 1953. His original name was Moische Alperovicz. See if your attorney's family's original name was Alperovicz and whether the family originally came from Kurenets, Belarus, as my grandfather's family did.
