Born around the mid 1800s in the West Indies. He married Gertrude Helena Barnwell (year unk),they had two children- Doris 1901-1990 and David 1912-1997.Gertrude emigrated to the USA(Boston,Ma)around 1915,and later to NY. Gertrude Als died around 1957 in LongIsland,NY.
