Since running into a brick wall working my back, I've decided to work my forward from my 4th great-grandfather, Cornelius Hoffman, in search of his son, probably Daniel since my 2nd great-grandfather was also Daniel. Cornelius was married to Elisabeth Barbara Alspach--has anyone found her? Cornelius was born 9 Sept. 1741 and I believe Elisabeth Barbara was A LOT younger since they didn't start having children until around 1786 and the last child was baptised 16 Mar 1809 when Cornelius was 68!!! Elisabeth Barbara was referred to in Cornelius' will just as Barbara and I believe she was probably born around 1767. Per the will their children were--Philip(probably Cornelius' father's name), David(probably Barbara's father's name), Daniel, Jacob, George, Henry, Samuel, Joseph, John, Elisabeth, and Adam--10 boys and 1 girl!
