Thaleischweiler, Rieschweiler, Nünschweiler and Sippenbuch der Stadt von Pirmasens (a county-like collection of records) are the four churches thus far that mention Alspach. I'll gladly share with whoever wants them.

I have a book on Henry Alspach 1773-1825 his forefathers, sons, daughters, their descendants. It is from 1738 - 1967. My grandmother was an Alspach. I would be glad to look to see if any particular name is in there but as it has 155 pages it may take a day or two. E-mail me any info you may have on the person I will see if he/she is a member of this branch.

Jacob B. ALSPACH b 1797 m/1 Elizabeth ALBRIGHT, m/2 Mary MILLER 1827 in Perry Co., OH. Supposedly this Jacob B. ALSPACH died 1857 in Miami Co., IN, and I'm wondering if it's the same Jacob B. Alspach that appears in the 1850 and 1860 census index as being in Wayne Twp., Henry Co., IN (have not seen census, only index).

Jacob had a brother Jonathan Alspach/Alspaugh b 1799 who married a Mary FOOR in 1820. Supposedly this Jonathan also died in Miami Co., IN in 1863. This information all comes SECOND HAND and not documented -- which is why I'm here :) Another of their siblings, Elizabeth ALSPACH b 1802 m Georg Friedrich FOOR b abt 1860. They, also, ended up in Miami Co., IN. Am trying to find out if Mary FOOR and Fred were siblings.

Searching for cemetery info, census info, contacts, etc., on this ALSPACH/ALSPAUGH/ALSPAW lineage

Hi, all. I created an Alspach Family Wiki as an experiment in combining genealogy and Wikis, which I think is potentially a very powerful combination.

A Wiki is a type of web page which anyone can edit at any time. I’ve added just a few pages to start with about some of my ancestors. I encourage you to add your own pages about yours, and link to mine if you like.

According to the rules of the web site, if no one changes or adds any pages for thirty days, the site will be shut down. Please visit! The address is:

http://seedwiki.com/wiki/Alspach%20Family%20Wiki/

Ben Fulton

In an antique store in Westerville, OH I found the following photos that were apparently together in an album at some point All the photos were taken in Columbus, Ohio:

"Uncle Milo and Aunt Alice Street"

I think Milo was the son of Herman and Mary (Nichols) Street. (Mary Nichols was the sister of Louisa Nichold who married Wm Churchill. I also posted her photo).

"Lucy Demeth (Streett) Alspach"
"William Wesley Alspach"

Lucy was also the daughter of Herman and Mary Street. William Alspach was her husband.

"Alice and Allie Strait - Age 24 1886
Allie Strait married Charles M Geiger"
"Charles M Geiger"

Alice and Ally were the daughters of Ira Stait and Harriet Uln. I don't see how they are related to the other families.

Joecan

Milo (Miolo?) J. Alspach

Hello. I am seeking any information available on Milo (or Miolo in the 1910 census spelling) J. Alspach. He is my great-grandfather. He lived and was married in Fulton, Indiana in 1895 and had 3 children. Harold E. Alspach was my grandfather. Any information prior to this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

In an antique store in Delaware OH I found an old CDV photo by C Kendig Photographer, Naperville, IL. Written on the back:

"Samuel Alspach and Polly his wife"

"S Alspach, Polly Alspach from Naperville, IL"

I think this could be Samuel Gilbert Alspach and his second wife Mary "Polly" Grim. They were married in Darke Co OH in 1863. Samuel was the son of Peter Alspach and Anna Gilbert. Samuel and Mary were living in Naperville, IL in 1870.

Joecan

Oklahoma Alspach's alive and well

Just stumbled onto this site and must say I am glad to see so many. I am one of many in the state of Oklahoma. My father's name is Daniel Ray Alspach, and his brothers are Phillip and John. As with every first born male in "our" Alspach family the Daniel name is either first or middle name.
This ended with the birth of myself and my two sisters. My father does happen to have a "Daniel Alspach" blanket dated 1806 and it has been passed down to each of the Daniel's. I believe the great grandparents first settled in Indiana then onto Kansas and to Oklahoma. My family is very large due mainly to one aunt and uncle who raised 16 children, at last count I can recall she had over 60 grandchildren, who are now having babies of their own. I had no idea there were so many looking for other Alspach family members, but I am very glad to see it.

ALSPACH, BELL

Seek any information about Guy Alspach of Cass County, IN, who married Daisy BELL of Cass County in 1904. They then resided in Rochester, Fulton County IN. Guy passed away about 1950, and Daisy about 1952 in Callaway County, MO.
While researching my BELL family tree, I came across this union, and would like to contact their descendants for any information that may have been compiled by Daisy and passed down in the family. Daisy was a member of the DAR, thus expressing a lineage interest back about 1910 or so. I have also seen the name spelled as Alspack and Alspaugh, as it relates to these two.

John Philip Alspach 1742-1808 Berks Pa

Am interested in Philip Alspach who married Maria Magdelena Hinckel 1749-1837 (she was the daughter of Philip Hinckel 1724-93 Maria Catharina 1725-82). Both Philips were neighbors near Windsor Castle / Hamburg in Berks County Pennsylvania. I would like to find out more specifically where Alspach had his farm as Ihave not yet located where Hinckel had his 200 acres. Besides Alspach, other neighbors were Geroge Christman, John Shamo his son George Hinckel. Philip Alspach was an executor of the Last Will of Philip Hinckel (my 7g grandfather). The church they attended was the Zion Lutheran Reformed. Thanks for any information. DougHinkel@aol.com
