I am the G-G-Grandaughter of Heinrich von Alt of Pennsylvania. His records all say he was from Hesse Darmstadt. Darmstadt is only 1-2 hour drive from Stuttgart. I am presently living in Stuttgart.

Heinrich arrived in the US in 1865 but I do not know if he had any siblings. Your post is a few years old, so maybe you have found some new information?
