Hey! I am glad I found this site. I just wish it wasn't nine years later!!

However, I want to know where I could see images of the five coats of arms associated with the name Altamirano.

Especially the latest addition. I've seen the image once, but cannot locate it again.

I am an Altamirano, my grandfather is 90 years old and migrated some 60 years ago to the US from Ecuador. His parents were from Guayaquil. I know there was a migration from Italy to Ecuador, I'm not sure which generation though, I believe it was my great great grandparents.

Josephina, My Great-grandfather was el (Güero) Bojórquez. I believe his first name was Alexandro. He was killed by a Yaqui Indian near the mining town South East of Hermosillo called La Colorada in the early 1900s. I was told that we may be related to a Rosario Bojórquez from Nogales, Sonora. She was a school teacher and possibly owned a furniture store.
Please let me know if you have heard of Rosario? Thank You, Jesus.

Hello! About what year was your grandmother born? Do you know the names of any of her siblings?

My great-grandmother is Amelia Altamirano, born 1915 in Tucson (daughter of Juan Altamirano and Rosario Bojorquez), died 1967 in Nogales, Sonora (living with her husband Alberto Larios). I am searching for records and information about her. Could Josephine be one of her sisters?

I have found the following census records. It looks like Sylvester possibly remarried after the 1920 census since his obituary mentions Hazel as his wife, not Anna as in the 1910/1920 census records. I could only find the 1910 and 1920 census. On Ancestry.com they have him still living in Alameda County, California in the 1930 census.

I am trying to research the five coats of arms associated with my sir name "Altamirano". The first being the nine blue dots on the shield, which I am informed is the original. If you have a coat of arms, bestowed by the Queen, and passed on to you from personal ancestors,or simply know of the coat of which you are a part of.or have info. of any sort.I would like to hear your peice of the puzzle and where it would tie into the whole!A long shot theory of mine is that the five coats of arms were families from spain, that were assigned to the different parts of the "Americas".Such as ...one family to the New York area one to Florida one to Mexico one to South America & perhaps one to the islands. The last addition to the coat, bestowed by the Queen of spain, that i am aware is the four severed heads.Earned by an ancestor of the name Altamirano, for a proud display of conquering the Moors, and bringing back the head of the king of the moors in a sack!

Altamirano's unite!!!!
