Looking for information on George Altemus, who served in Co. E, 81st Pa. during the Civil War. Born about 1824 in Pa. Died, I think, August, 1862. Wife's name was Sarah. Think he may be buried in Cyprus Hills Cemetery in New York. Would like to confirm this. Also, interested in any other information on him. Researching the men of the 81st Pa. Any help, or information would be greatly appreciated.
