My husband is Mitch Altimus and is a cousin of Rita Trupp. We have lost contact with her. This is what I have on our part of the family. Mitch's dad was Elwood B.C. Altimus and he married Jessie Mitchell in White Haven. His parents were Elwood J. Altimus and Bertha Leister in White Haven. We found that in 1930 they were separated and there children lived in 3 diffrent households. Their children were Elwood, Blanch, Jeannett, Elizabeth, & Edwin. Elwood was married to Miranda in White Haven. Elwood was a blacksmith. Elwood Altimus the blacksmith is a far back as we can go. If anyone can help with any other roots I would appreciate your help.
