In the presence of her family and friends, Mrs. Emma Altenbach, 1828 N. Seventh street, celebrated her 90th birthday Sunday at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leopold Altenbach.
Mrs. Altenbach was born in Germany on November 3, 1850, and came to Sheboygan on April 30, 1888. She has three daughters, Mrs. Anna Trester, Mrs. Frances Briggs and Mrs. Ida Metzdorf, and a son, Leopold. There are 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren in the family circle. A daughter, Mrs. Pauline Conrad, passed away in 1924. Mr. Altenbach died in 1925.
Mrs. Altenbach is active despite her advanced age and attends Holy Name church regularly. She enjoys reading.
