So sorry but I only notice your reply today when my 10 year old son Marcus googled my name. I have looked up Swalava on the map and as I am sure you know it is now in the Ukraine and had acquired a new spelling. Monkatsh is another name that kept cropping up and again it has a new spelling. Hardly any Jews left there if any at all. Where do you live now? I do hope you get this message. The first reply was from a cousin I didn't know existed who now lives in the USA and whom I met in Paris.
