Corinne M. Altman, 90, formerly of North Huntingdon,
passed away peacefully Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012. She resided with her daughter, Hazel and her husband, Jerry Tewell, in Idaho at the time of death. Corinne was born May 24, 1921, in Dravosburg, and was a former resident of Cereal in North Huntingdon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter C. and Emelie G. King and her husband, James E. Altman; and brother, Walter C. King Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Hazel and her husband, Jerry Tewell; granddaughter, Jennifer and her husband, Jarred Rankn; and very special great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Rankn. Corrine is also survived by her brother, Fredrick G. King and his wife, Patricia, and their children, Fred and Lisa; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth King; and niece, Lynne King. Corinne was an active and cherished member of Circleville United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for 42 years and member of the choir. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, in Circleville United Methodist Church. Private burial will follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
