I believe that Nicholas Altmeyer was a brother to John who married Rosina (Jacobi). John and Rosina had a farm in Ferdinand. John & Rosina's daughter Clara married Joseph Leo Ketzner (my Grandfather). Joseph and Clara had 8 children - Rose (Luebbehusen), Marie (never married), George (never married), Cornelia (Weidenbenner), Joseph Ferdinand (My Dad), Leo, Estelle (Knust), and Margaret (Kerstiens - Schmidt). The old Altmeyer farm is now owned by the Mundy family and is just past the Ketzner farm where we grew up.
