Do you have any other info on John Alton? My grandfather was John Alton and I have two very old pictures of women that have handwritten on the the backs " my girlfriend". He was born in 1906 and apparently was quite the ladies man. I know he traveled alot and did varies jobs until he settled down around 1940. Maybe one of these pictures is her? I will check the back again and see if there is a name? I could also scan the pics and send them to you. Maybe you will recognize the girls? They were very pretty ( alot prettier then my grandmother..lol!).
