I'm searching for my great great grandfather, and I don't have much information. Celesta A. (Annie Mae) Massey was born on 11 Jan 1874 in Boone County, Indiana. In 1892, at age 18, she gave birth to a daughter (my great grandmother), Mary Alice. As far as we know, Annie Mae and the father of her baby were never married. However, she did give the baby the last name of Altum. So I'm looking for an Altum man who lived in the Boone County, Indiana area around the time period 1891/92. We believe he was a teenager, probably 17-19 years old. Annie Mae married two years after giving birth to Mary Alice. No record was ever kept by the family on who Mary Alice's birth father was. Can anyone help me?
