I am trying to find out more about the Boone/Clinton county Altums. My Great Grandfather was Jesse I. Altum. His Father was Esaviores Altum. They have spelled his name many ways on the census reports. I find him in 1880 in clinton county and my great grandfather later in boone county. I believe I have found his name spelled Esabius, Esabeus and a few other ways. I am not very experienced in searching. Any ideas? Altumate1@aol.com Thanks, Ron Altum
