I am interested in contacting anyone who is looking for information on the Rosario and Rivera families from Aibonito and Caguas, Puerto Rico. My father, Toribio Rosario Rivera, and his family were living in Aibonito from 1910 until at least 1930. After that, either the whole family or my father moved to Caguas where he met my mother, Ana Vergara Dones. My grandfather’s name is Sandalio Rosario Alvarado and my grandmother is Maria Rivera Gutierrez.

If you have any relatives from Aibonito and Caguas with these last names, please email me. We may be related.
I am looking for my family history in Honduras.
My mother is Maria Adriana Alvarado. Her father is Jesus Alvarado and his parents were Raimundo Gomez and Arcadia Alvarado. Jesus was also killed by his brother in the late 1940's I think in or near Ocotepeque, Honduras.
My mother's mother was Catalina Maria Alcantara. Her parents were Berdadino Velencia and Ursela Alcantar (no "a" on the birth cerificate). Ursela's parents were Manuel Alcantar and Amuelita Locu.
My uncle Temo Tail Alvarado is still alive and I think is still in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
I would like to know more about my grandparents.

Pedro Alvarado, gold mine, Parral, MEX 1903
The New York Times, 23 June 1903

HAS RICHEST OF MINES

Pedro Alvarado, a Poor Laborer a Few Years Ago,
Now Has Incalculable Wealth.

PARRAL, Mexico, June 22.--The richness of the Palmillo mine, situated here, is attracting the attention of the mining world. It was discovered about four years ago by Pedro Alvarado, who was a peon workman in a mine at 60 cents a day. He still owns the mine, which is believed to be the richest in the world. The American Smelting and Refining Company, through its Mexican branch, the Guggenheim Exploration Company, has just made an unsuccessful effort to open negotiations with Alvarado to purchase the mine.

Alvarado has nearly a thousand burros carrying bullion from his mine to the railroad. At the works of the Palmillo mine he has a steel cage in which there are bars of gold and silver valued at $60,000,000. Lately a new vein had been struck in the mine which assays about $100 gold and $500 silver to the ton. Alvarado recently offered to pay the public debt of Mexico as a donation to the government. His offer was rejected by Minister Limantour.
