The Joseph Alves that you're talking about was my grandfather. Naomi was his second wife; he did not have any children by her. He did, however, have three children with his first wife, Shirley Chapman (Chapman was her maiden name). He and Shirley divorced however after their youngest child left home. I am the youngest daughter of his youngest daughter.
