I am looking for any surviving relatives of Joseph F Alves, born in middlesex, massechucetts 27/08/1918 and died 22/05/2003 i believe also in massechucetts, he is buried in the massechucetts veteran cemetary. I believe his wifes name was Naomi Ruth Alves, i know they had children, but am not sure of their names. Although i was told that one maybe called Gail, but i am not 100% on this.

Joseph was my grandfather. He came to England in ww11 with the american airforce. Here he met my grandmother Gwendoline and together they had my father Paul. Joseph wrote to my father up until the 60s, when sadly they lost contact. I have been trying since 2000 to trace my grandfather and have only recently discovered that he died in 2003.

If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of their children or any relatives i would be truly grateful.
