Alvis B. Visor, born 1857, TN. His parents were William F. Visor and Elmyra Jane Stowe.
This Visor surname was actually Vasseur. They were also known as Viser/Vassar/DeVasier. This family came from VA to TN and were also in AL, MS and TX.
I am trying to find out if Alvis B. Visor/Vasseur's grandmother was a Alvis.
Does anyone know of a Alvis and Visor/Viser/Vasseur connection?
