ST. CLOUD, FL: Sondra Alwood Gorley passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2011.

Sondra was born February 13, 1939 in Zanesville, Ohio (Muskingum County) to Beatrice Alwood and the late John E. Alwood.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James L. Gorley of St. Cloud, Florida; daughters, Christine (Ken) Bhirdo of Durham, North Carolina, Brooke (Angel) Cabrena of St. Cloud, Florida; sons, Brian (Mary) Gorley of Orlando, Florida, Scott (Leslie) Gorley of Greenville, Georgia, Eric (Adalia) Gorley of Orlando, Florida.

She leaves behind sisters, Judith (Lee) Haecker of Seguin, Texas, Jacquilene Bowers of Cincinnati, Ohio.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; nieces and a nephew.

Private services were held November 25, 2011 in St. Cloud, Florida.
