Some updates: Joseph Amaddio was the father of Eugene (Eugenio) Amadio (Amaddio). NOT Frank. This is verified by Eugene's Social Security Application. Joseph was a steward on the ships between the US and Italy and we're pretty sure he was from Naples, Italy. He did not stay in the US and might have other family in Italy. Eugene's mother was Grace Pacelli. Joseph would have been born sometime around 1880-85, as would Grace. Eugene was born in 1905 in Brooklyn, NY.
