Although I found Phillip and John, sons of Jakob Aman of Zurich Switzerland, first to come to America in 1710 with Swiss German Palatines, I did not find any record of John in the tax lists after 1715. Phillip carries on. I have info from North Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Texas. Large group in Texas, and I have two of the genealogical books they compiled. Need names or are you already aware of the ones who put together book and organize big family reunion in Texas? I have a good amount of information, would love to exchange info with you.
