I have done quite a bit of research on this family. My mother-in-law is a daughter of Fred Aman, the youngest brother of your great grandfather. She is also related on the Leicht side. Your great grandfather was actually the third Henry (Heinrich) Aman. The parents, Heinrich and Rosina (Leicht) Aman immigrated 18 Oct 1884 at NY along with other Leichts. The grandfather, Heinrich (1809-1863) died in Russia, but the grandmother, Friedricka (Weiss) Aman immigrated at age 72 along with the family. If your great grandfather was "Henry Aman Sr.", he must have had a son named Henry. I would be interested in sharing data because I have no info about the youngest Henry.
