I have been sent the research done by a Carloyn Depp on the entire Amazeen history. It appears to be very detailed. I would be glad to forward you a copy, if you haven't already come across it. Pat Hamilton

Keziah Amazeen

I've just found this section and am not very good about navigating thru it. Keziah was my 4th ggrandmother on my fathers side. Somewhere along the way a decendant of the Amazeens' sent me their entire research on this name from the very first "John the Greek" Amazeen to arrive in America. Would be glad to share it with you, although it doesn't give info on Keziah's parents. I need to find evidence linking Keziahs' husband Nathaniel Lear,1767-1824 with his father Nathaniel Lear,1741-1781.

Elizabeth and Lucretia of NewCastle

I am trying to determine the relationship between Elizabeth Amazeen, m. Philip4 Yeaton 1789, and Lucretia Amazeen, b. 1785, wife of George Kimball. According to the Historical Sketch of Deer Isle, William Yeaton came to the Deer Isle area as a young man and moved in with George Kimball for a time. Martin Hollick in his Chronology of the Yeatons (New Hampshire Genealogical Record, vol. 21) suggests that William5 is the son of William4 and Abigail White, which would make him the nephew of Elizabeth Amazeen Yeaton. What is his relationship to Lucretia?
