Hello i am just starting to research my family history i am 40 years old , my grandad robert stirling somtimes spelt sterling in records his mum was sarah ellen ambrose she married my grandads dad another robert, also great grandads sister catherine married an ambrose to, I have linked these ambroses to ambroses in liverpool henry and thomas. But i am writing to ask if you know if my sarah ellen ambrose born 1877 manchester and died in 1916 when my grandad was 16, they lived at lavender street ancoats manchester but sarah was born in 5 new islington ancoats with her other brother's and sister's, i think her mum was called elizabeth jenkinson and her dad was called william ambrose i am thinking are my ambroses related to your ambroses that you talk about here i would love to find out where they came from , regards elizabeth
