Jeanette, so sorry I haven't seen your message until now. Do you have any idea when Howard was born or died? I have a Howard, b. Wis. 1901. He married and had two children in WI (Amaryliss and William). He lived in Wis. in the 1920 and 1930 census, but died in Calif. 1959. His father was William Ameden, who married a local German girl, Lizzie Kiehl. He left her and might have lived in Minn. before ending up in So. Dak. in 1923. Yours, Nancy Mullen
