DROWNING TAKES LIVES OF THREE BILLINGS BOYS IN RESERVOIR
Billings, June 6. --- (AP) --- Three farm boys, all cousins, drowned today in the Great Northern reservoir at Rimrock station, 10 miles west of BILLINGS, when the boat in which they were playing overturned and threw them into the seven-foot deep artificial lake.
Dead were Byron Leveno Amen, 16; John Amen, Jr., 13; and Jack Amen, 12.
Ervin Amen, 15, brother of Jack, who also was in the boat, swam to shore and returned with a rope tied around his waist to pull in the body of his brother. Another boy, Billy Wagner, 12, was pulled to safety by his father and a neighbor who were fishing from the bank at the time.
