I am interest in finding the early information regarding Samuel Amery of Charles County, Md. ( St. Mary's). I would like to know when he arrived in the colony and just where in England his or his famiy were located. Samuel Amery married Mary Ann Wilson of Charles County, Md. about 1700 and had a number of children. The male names for several generation are : Samuel, John , Thomas and according to the custom these are probably names of prior family members.
He was a famer, well educated, held positions in the community and in the Trinity Episcopal Church in what was called NewPort in Charles Co., His seat was called Eagleton or Nevitt's Desire colnsisted of several hundred acres.
