Harvey Earl Ames was my grandfather. My grandmother's name was Roma Viola Courtney (sept. 6, 1891-approx dec. 25, 1971 Riley KS)They had 13 children. My father was one of them. His name was spelled two ways (Billie and Billy) and knickname Bill. One of his 3 wives was my mother. Lois Volk. My father left us and went to Mexico and CA when I was around 7. He remarried and then died in CA a few years after that. He had horrible heart problems which was how I started searching more in the first place, for health reasons. Many of his siblings also died relatively early in life. My father was born April 17, 1923 and dec. july 9, 1970 - unless his headstone says differently and I can't find pic of right now.
