Hi Glenys
There is a possibility that Martha and Rachel Amey might be the sisters of my Richard Amey who was born in about 1765 in Langton Long, Blandford. I have not yet been able to make any connection though. Unfortunately although I have found a baptism for him, no parents were mentioned and there is no sign of any family in the area, so one answer could be that they moved away. A Rachel Amey of Blandford was married in 1802 and a Thomas Amey of Blandford was married in 1801 in the presence of William Ayres.

Do you know anything more about Martha and Rachel Amey - where they grew up etc? Do you know anything about a Thomas Amey?
