1.I do have a reference to your Barbara Emig Pugh from York County Pennsysvania Church Records of the 18th Century vol. 3 by Bates & Wright. "Barbara Emig dau. Nicholas Emig and Eva b. 2 Nov 1763,bapt. 27 Nov 1763 at St. Mattherws Church (on the Conewago) York Co. PA.
2.Unfortunatly, I find no such documentation for the birth of Jacob Emig son of Nicholas and Eva. Many people give this birth information but I've yet to see any proof. It seems that Jacob must have stayed behind in PA when Nicholas and Eve moved to NC. Thanks for your reply. Please Let me know if you find any more on Jacob Emig/Amick.
