My husband's family has one ancestor listed as a Franziska AMMA. She married Joseph Anton Dominikus Franz. They lived in Germany and had a son, Franz Dominikus Franz on Feb. 22, 1783. This is all I have on the Amma family. Would love to hear from you!

obituary- Harriet E. Amma

Harriet E. Amma
Harriet E. Amma (nee Kramer), born Jan. 28, 1922, died Jan. 21, 2000.
Harriet was a fun-loving mother, grandmother, and friend in her time with us. She pleasured herself with golfing, fishing, knitting, bowling, and traveling with her friends and family! Although she has left us now, she is joining her mother and father, Emil and Anna Kramer; as well as her brother, Bruce Kramer, in a safe harbor without worries now.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Nick Brigato; grandchildren, Erin Radcliffe, all of Cuyahoga Falls, and Nicholas Brigato (and wife, Angela) of Georgia. We are blessed and grateful for the fun and frolicking memories in which she has left us to smile with!! Have a big party now, Grandma, and spread some hugs around while you're at it, please!

Harriet was a former active member with the Eastern Star, the Caldron, and the Sons of Herman. She was also formerly employed with E. W. Kramer Sheet Metal, a company which her father founded.

Cremation has already taken place, and a memorial service will be set at a later date. Friends may send their memorial contributions to your local Alzheimer's Association or the Greater Akron Humane Society.

(ADAMS-MASON, 535-9186.)

I HAVE NO CONNECTION TO THIS SURNAME!!!

family

Attempting to create a family tree for the AMMA family. Current research indicates that the family split apart before the 20th century. Some remained in Europe others came to the U.S. Any information would be welcome.
thank-you
